This fall, I have been organizing planned giving house parties where an existing donor hosts a group of friends in their home and shares their experience about creating a bequest, or a charitable trust to fund an endowment in CALS. It has been a fun and bonding experience for everyone involved!
As I listened to the speakers at our various parties, I noticed that a recurring theme emerged from our donors stories; and that is the legacy that our donors feel they are establishing by funding their endowments through their estate plans.
